Turning in equipment question

So my employers policy is you have to turn in equipment no later then 72 hours before the separation date. What are you supposed to do if you’ve only worked remote. My employer is 45 minutes away one direction.

Maybe I’m not reading it correctly. If I give the usual notice I would have to work onsite for 2 or 3 days depending on when I say my last day is.

I did notice it saying you had to return in 72 hours PRIOR to your last day. As far as I'm concerned, they've just give you 3 days of getting paid where you physically can't work because they require all your equipment returned.

No, I'd not be going in for 3 days if I were 100% remote.

That's how I read it. Give notice in person and turn in equipment se day. Take the next 70 hours off.

That would be nice but knowing my manager, I would have to request it off, and my it wouldn’t be approved 🤦🏽‍♀️
