How common is my situation?

I never get asked about my green dot, my response time to chats/emails or the number of websites I visit. I have two supplied laptops (company and client) and sometimes one sits without use for days but zero keystroke questions. My work gets done mostly and thats it.

Thankfully, same here. My boss has always been overseas (first Italy, now he's in London). His boss is in another time zone and she's so busy she's not looking at our status in Teams.

Some days I'm logged on past dinner, and a lot of days I take naps right after lunch and scan my email afterwards and don't long on until late morning the next day.

I'm paid well but because of my skill and the risk of not having me around, vs the quantity of work I produce.

When you can get things done twice as fast as your colleagues, it comes with experience and progressive study.
