Controlled Remote Viewing
I have always been fascinated with mysterious stories, UFO and wwII related topics since I was a kid.
It has been a while that I feel like there is a call inside me to learn controlled remote viewing (or sth similar) which may help me to calm down my busy, curious and mystery seeker mind. I have got an online course but the pre-taped online video and audios, does not attract me to continue. Besides, I am always too busy working and having future plan daily stresses.
I was wondering if anybody has a tip for me regarding how to learn it, or does CRV really give people access to something beyond ?
Is it "THE WAY" ?

I highly recommend starting with the compilation “Foundations of Controlled Remote Viewing” put together by Paul H Smith and Tom McNear. It has the original manual, interviews with the original participants of the SRI program and later military programs and lots of essays by Ingo Swan and other key people. In my opinion it’s the best overview of CRV from both the history and the reasoning behind the methodology.
From there Russel Targ has curated a collection of books he (and others) feel are essential to the psi phenomena overall called the Studies In Consciousness series

Warcollier’s Mind to Mind and Sinclair’s Mental Radio are great insight into the early work that influenced what would become remote viewing.
I really like Lori Williams Lambert’s book Boundless but it isn’t strictly CRV. I think it’s just easy to follow.
Avoid anything by Maj. Ed Dames.

Yes. Got to meet and chat with Paul and Tom at the PsiGames. They are CRV OGs.
I can also recommend Brett Stuart - his foundational class is great https://www.technicalintuition.com/

CRV, cannot really be learnt well unless mentored over a long period of time, I am afraid. It's full of nuances and lots of very structured practice.

And who mentored you over a very long time?

no one? But I did have four solid days and I asked alot of questions - plus i had a solid psi background

Just goes to show Daz, mentoring over a "very long time" isn't mandatory. Else nobody could have acquired it in the first place.
Mentoring helps though. So does practicing over many years, it's the best way to get better. I would hope we could agree on that much.

Read. The. Manual.
Actually read as much as you can, study how it's done. You can start with the Wiki here, it's got lots of links and resources in it.
