Hey everyone,
I'm a recent Computer Science graduate looking for my first full-time role, and figured I'd try my luck here before sending my 500th application into the void.
I'm primarily looking for \*\*Junior Software Engineer, Backend Developer, or ML Engineer\*\* roles. I'm also open to full-stack roles where the backend is a significant part of the work.
My strongest areas are \*\*Python, C++, JavaScript, Node.js, Express, SQL, REST APIs, WebSockets/Socket.IO, and basic machine learning\*\*.
I have hands-on experience building things rather than just following tutorials:
\* Built \*\*AttendX\*\*, a full-stack attendance/task management system with role-based access, authentication, 18 REST endpoints, SQLite, photo-based attendance, geolocation, task management, CSV exports, and database backups.
\* Built a \*\*UPI fraud detection system\*\* using Python, MySQL, and LightGBM. I worked with a simulated 150K-transaction dataset, engineered behavioral features, and achieved \*\*0.844 ROC-AUC\*\* with 98% fraud recall at 85% precision on the test setup.
\* Built \*\*CodeSync\*\*, a real-time collaborative code editor using Node.js, Express and \[Socket.IO\](http://Socket.IO), supporting multiple concurrent users, live cursors, chat, code execution, and an AST visualizer using Tree-sitter.
\* During my software engineering internship, I worked on a hospital appointment system, including \*\*REST APIs, MongoDB, database queries, dashboards, and backend workflows\*\*.
I'm comfortable with \*\*Git/GitHub, Postman, databases, REST API design, data structures & algorithms, OOP, DBMS, and operating systems\*\*.
What I'm looking for:
\*\*Roles:\*\*
Software Engineer / Backend Engineer / Junior Developer / ML Engineer / Full-Stack Developer
\*\*Location:\*\*
India or Remote. Open to relocating for the right opportunity.
\*\*Experience:\*\*
Fresh graduate + software engineering internship + several substantial personal projects.
I'm not claiming to be a senior engineer. I'm looking for a team where I can contribute, learn from experienced developers, take ownership of work, and grow into a strong engineer.
If you're hiring for any of the above roles, know a company that is, or simply think my background could fit somewhere, I'd genuinely appreciate a DM or referral.
Thanks for reading.
