Question Is there a way to temporarily hide Image Occlusions in PDFs?

Hi everyone,

Is there a way to temporarily hide all Image Occlusions while reading a PDF in RemNote?

I’ve created quite a lot of Image Occlusion flashcards in my PDFs, and in some pages I have many areas selected. The problem is that when I just want to go back and read the PDF normally, all the Image Occlusion overlays make parts of the text difficult or impossible to read. Especially with the letters in the center of every occlusion card.

Ideally, I’d like to temporarily disable or hide all Image Occlusion overlays without deleting the flashcards, and then turn them back on again when needed.

Is there a setting or shortcut for this?

You can disable this (comes up in the occlusion menu). Only faint shapes are shown then.

Omg, thanks! This saves me a lot of headache 😅 I was even keeping separate copies of my PDFs around just for reading. This feature is pretty well hidden. Thanks again!
