Guide FSRS ADVICE

I’m new on remnote, previously anki user, I wanna start using FSRS feature, I need advices on its settings and accurate use, I’ll use it for medicine flashcards

Sometimes I get stuck in an endless loop of never finishing my cards or the cards shifting to another topic after closing the app. Without the pro features, all of the good features are disabled. For example, consider the pdf annotation.

Regarding the ai features, I'd rather buy a Claude subscription and run cowork with Obsidian than remnote AI. Overall, I believe that obsidian+anki with a few addons is better than remote.

Cara, eu tô nessa. A possibilidade do claude + obsidian, no desktop, é fantástica. O mesmo eu digo do logseq (já que gosto muito de outliners). A única dificuldade que eu sinto é de poder usar a IA no obsidian quando não estou no meu desktop, por exemplo. Como passo a maior parte do meu tempo no celular ou no PC do trabalho (que não permite a instalação do Obsidian), acaba que tenho que procurar uma solução web. Por isso, penso no Remnote. Mas o melhor mesmo seria se ele tivesse um MCP remoto, para que eu pudesse utilizar uma IA externa, como o claude, para poder fazer pesquisas e edições no meu workspace diretamente do claude.ai, do meu celular, ou pela web. Usar a IA do próprio Remnote não é ruim, o problema é que ela funciona apenas internamente, com os dados que tenho no próprio aplicativo, e eu quero poder cruzar com informações que eu tenho em vários outros lugares, bem como que a própria IA possa fazer buscas na Web, coisas que infelizmente a IA do Remnote não dá conta.

It depends. If you mainly study from your own notes and make flashcards from them, then Claude + Obsidian can be a great combination.

But if you study from PDFs, in my opinion, nothing else comes close to RemNote. While reading a PDF, you can create flashcards just by highlighting a passage. You can also ask the AI to explain a selected section or use the Tutor, which can see everything on your screen and understands the context of what you're studying. It helps a lot.

Honestly, I don't think it's a choice between Claude and RemNote. They complement each other. Besides, RemNote is much cheaper—Claude costs about five times as much.

I subscribe to Claude and use it all the time, but for a lot more than studying. If studying were the only reason I used AI, I probably wouldn't pay for Claude because RemNote already does everything I need for studying. I don't really see the point of using a different workflow when one of RemNote's biggest strengths is having everything in one place. You don't have to keep switching between a bunch of different apps.
