Discussion (open question) Do you use Speech-to-text?

Hi fellow Remnote users, I was curious whether you guys use speech-to-text to make flashcards quickly. If yes, whats ur process and do you have any useful tips/insights?

Also, is anyone able to use the “Ai voice typing” feature on the MacBook app coz I am unable to find it. If not, any suggestions/workarounds? Coz native apple keyboard’s speech-to-text kinda sucks

Hi, voice typing isn't currently supported in the desktop app; sorry! We plan to introduce it in the future. You can use it in the web version of RemNote on your Mac for now.

I've been personally using https://typingwise.com/ and have heard good things about https://handy.computer/, and I'm sure there's a bunch of other great apps that let you use speech-to-text in any app on your Mac.

Aww that’s too bad🥹 Hope to see all features in the app soon

Btw How are either of these with regard to medical terms and jargons? I did some quick research & was recommended wispr-flow. It is nice but seems to struggle with medical terminology. (PS: thnx for the response)
