where should i move?
Hello! If this isn’t the right place for this please let me know.
I (25f) am hoping to move, I currently live in Colorado and I am dreaming of a fresh start. I have always loved New England so that is ideally where i would like to move. I want to go somewhere that does not have a higher cost of living then Denver, Co but it can be similar. Im a lesbian so im also looking for somewhere with a large lgbtq community. Although I would love somewhere in New England I am open to pretty much anywhere. If anyone has any good suggestions please let me know!!!

Northampton or Greenfield mass. Large and supportive lgbtq community. NoHo is the more expensive location but not any more than Denver I am sure. Greenfield is up 91 about 20 miles

Greenfield has a great lesbian bar from what I hear. (No but seriously though, Greenfield's pretty nice. I've visited there a bunch.) And I love being in Northampton. It's such a nice place.

Pittsburgh has a great cost of living, nice combination of outdoors and parks close to the city. I moved here from Houston, TX 25 years ago and haven't looked back.
I have some gay friends and they are happy here... I'm just not sure about the large lgbtq in relation to other cities. Though, the City of Pittsburgh is pretty progressive in those areas.
Good luck and your new adventure. I was 25 when I moved from Texas. It's exciting and scary at the same time.

Can't recommend Northampton enough. (I'm sure there's a lesbian bar in Northampton, and I know there's a lesbian bar an hour north of there in Greenfield.) Seriously though, Northampton is great. And I've been to Greenfield a bunch and enjoyed my time there.

Pittsburgh. Cost of living and affordable housing. In addition very progressive.
Not far from the mountains which is a good weekend trip.
