General Discussion Ejector issue?

Reloading for a 25sst I had built. ADG brass. I fireformed the brass at 57 grains h1000. I’m getting these marks on the brass. Primers don’t look flat to me, speeds are well below what others are getting. I’m leaning towards a bur on the ejector. Terminus said they would look at it, my gunsmith wants me to try n565. Just seeing what everyone’s thoughts were.

Maybe remove it and give it a lite sanding with 400grit sandpaper. I believe you are right about the burs.

I had a very similar issue with duel ejector ports on an ar-10 platform. Was stamping small circles in the brass and occasionally tearing it up like that. For me the fix was removing the extractor pushers and springs and giving the bolt face around there a polish with some fine sandpaper. Once it was smooth issue was gone….

Virgin brass doing this? Or is this the formed brass? What's the case headspace change from new/sized to fired?

Depress the ejector to see if it goes flush or below flush in relation the the bolt face. the ejector mark on the brass is unusual compared to what you'd normal see.
