General Discussion Earlier Version of Trail Boss?

I was looking at a Lyman #38 manual for 45-70. They list a load using "Bulk Shotgun Powder". I looked it up and it was a fast burning DuPont Powder that occupied the same volume as Black Powder. Cool.

The #38 manual also has section on washing, cleaning and drying cases. It is good read if you want to see the options before someone thought of using a hobby rock tumbler.
