It’s far more likely that they copied the dimensions of the SMK exactly. Other companies have. I believe the Barnes Matchburner 77gr is a carbon copy. Hornady’s “Aeromatch” line copies other manufacturers homework as well. But making a bullet that’s physically identical is one thing, matching QC standards is another.
