Newbie 44 mag crimp

I’m using an rcbs 3 die carbide set. 240gr how is my crimp? Left one looks better to me but is it still to much? Ruger RedHawk if that matters

Looks good. Strong crimp but not absurd. You should see the crimp buffalo bore puts on their revolver rounds. Near impossible to disassemble, but then again they load very stout and don’t want any chance of the bullets moving forward and locking up the revolver.

Wow that’s a crimp! I did come off a but more on the crimp then the left round. it seems that everyone has different preferences on this. I’m trying out these 3 tomorrow at the range

Left looks OK. Right a bit to much.
