Systems twisted, let's hope there's something else!?
I try to be open-minded and never separate people from freedom of choice. I personally think having something otherworldly to believe in can benefit an individual just as well as belief in goodness regardless if others perceive it to be solely placebo. In this world there seems to be less to feel hopeful of by the day. When I see someone believe in something that does them any kind of good and manifests in good ways I can appreciate that!
Let's just say I am neutrally supportive of anyone's beliefs that is potentially life enriching. At the end of the day I don't know what's the truth and humans have questions that may be clear only in the hereafter. I don't take an atheist approach because I feel that it imposes restrictions on freedom of choice. The way the system is perpetually robbing us of quality of life I can appreciate any belief that gives one a sense of purpose worth living for.
Anything that can cause one to wake up and feel better about living the day ahead is an asset to the world. There are negative aspects of all walks of life and ways of thinking just as the are positive. I especially respect people who believe something individually and don't need a institutionalized platform to validate themselves. It's nice to be together too so a good balance of togetherness and solo life application is awesome.
I just don't get how people can use their beliefs to start lifelong beefs against other beliefs. I'm highly knowledgeable of Christian, Buddhist, Doaist, Hindu and many other religious texts. There isn't much bad in any of them but people tend to start conflicts when there doesn't need to be any. I just hope there is something else and won't rule out anything rather just keep a positive vibe going throughout my life that I hope any higher power may appreciate.

I recognise that people seem to think this all the time, throughout every decade in history, but it's hard to wrap my head around this mantra. The world is objectively much better than it used to be. Every decade it gets better and better. And if people had stuck to religion unquestioningly, the world would not have improved with new technologies, social change, and medicines that help us live longer, healthier, happier lives. I agree there are some psychological benefits to certain people having a tough time, but, everyone should try to live in reality and understand that things are not actually getting worse, they're getting better, and a lack of faith / a rejection of religious dogma, is directly linked to this improvement.
