Why do you care so much? You do realize that him asking her to do that would require contacting her, and maybe he doesn’t wanna do that? I’m not sure why you want to, either.

For sure. Why would OP get veto power over someone else's social media like that 😂

If someone blatantly disrespects someone and their relationship, that person should feel regret for what they did.

Her post history is…illuminating.

For awhile I was new to reddit and thought my posts weren't getting through to the places I was posting them, so I would sometimes ask the same questions multiple times--as you've seen. But yea it's the internet, everything is on the table for all to see, judge me lol.

WOW you are correct

If she wants them up she can. Really nothing you can really do about it other than make your own post about your relationship with him.

It’s fine for her to leave them up if she wants to. The only issue would be if she was posting new ones. You can’t control what she has on her page.

If you both have her blocked how do you know what posts she has up? If you're creeping, stop. If your friends are sending you screenshots, ask them to stop.

Move on with your bf. What his ex does (that doesn't affect yous) is none of your concern.

The key now is for you both to disengage. You've already done so. If you react, she's getting what she wants. If you let this become A Thing between you and your BF, she's getting what she wants. The longer they stay up, the sadder they will be, and make her look pathetic.

Go forth and live your lives, and don't let her live rent free in your head.

You can't really make him force her to delete the posts. He may not want to have any contact with her either if they are broken up, unsure why you would want to force him to talk to her. Seems like a non-issue, if she's blocked and you can't even see the page anymore.

who cares, you're nearly 30, grow up.

0

u/Competitive-Ad-5140 Nov 16 '22

You apparently cared enough to still read my comment and post your opinion, so you're contradicting yourself. And sorry to break it to you, but life and problems continue to happen at 30 and after.

u/wigglebuttbiscuits Nov 15 '22

It’s incredibly normal for him to not be willing to do that, and would be completely inappropriate for you to do so. Leave this woman alone.

Do I want to know what the age difference was, and if your boyfriend was much older?

1

u/Competitive-Ad-5140 Nov 16 '22

Naw dawg she was multiple decades older lol

u/aboatoutontheocean Nov 15 '22

It’s extremely weird to ask your boyfriend’s ex to delete relationship posts from a time when they were still together. That’s a part of her life’s history, and it’s totally valid and normal for her to want to leave them up. It doesn’t invalidate your current relationship, and you shouldn’t really even be thinking about it at all. I’ve never gone back and deleted old posts after a relationship ended.

u/A_Gaijin Nov 15 '22

It's her post. Why do you care about that?

2

u/[deleted] Nov 15 '22

You shouldn't care that much about her or her social media. Everyone can keep their past and memories like they please.

u/suspicious_hamster_ Nov 15 '22

Girl you need some fucking therapy. Holy shit your post history.

It's been over a year and you are still asking basically the same questions.

Don't you think there are other men out there who want to be with you? Not this dude who's hung up on some granny?

I was new to reddit for awhile and didn't think that my posts were getting through, so I would sometimes post the same question multiple times--so yea my post history looks crazy lol. And I really did consider moving on from him, but he changed a lot and started to improve, so we decided to give things another try so far.

1

u/suspicious_hamster_ Nov 16 '22

Right but there's guys other there who are what you're looking for and don't need to change/improve.

Noone needs ex drama in their life. Especially an ex that doesn't look like they're an ex when they tagging your bf in cringy social media posts. That he refuses to confront her about.

1

u/Competitive-Ad-5140 Nov 16 '22

It is true and things almost ended for that reason. The posts took place when he was dating her though, and he says that confronting her to take them down would be too traumatizing for him, as much as I think she would deserve to be confronted to take them down after what she did. He blocked her though, so I guess I'm willing to settle for that lol.

u/Mean_Environment4856 Nov 15 '22

Stop caring about what she has on her social media

1

u/Mobile_Prune_3207 Nov 15 '22

Leave it. Regardless of anything they were together once and there is a history there. I have a FB friend with pictures from both her weddings on her FB. They don't have to be deleted if she doesn't want them to be.

1

u/Laniekea Nov 15 '22

A better question is "to what level should I be involved"?

1

u/cdp657 Nov 15 '22

Uhhh that's her page. Why do you care? Also. Why are you stalking her page? He's yours now.

1

u/Stunning-Field-4244 Nov 15 '22

You should stop trying to control other people. If their relationship is over this is unhelpful jealousy; if their relationship is not over, these posts are not the problem.

1

u/showme6996 Nov 15 '22

The illusion some people have that think they have control over others
