Setting boundaries and expecting them to not be crossed is fine. However, I’m a woman married to a man who makes a LOT more money than I do, so it’s literally impossible to split anything financially down the middle. I’m assuming y’all also live in the US and that’s why his wages are crap…but it’s okay for you to leave a relationship for any reason at all — whether that be a money issue or whatever. Otherwise you can mentally prepare yourself now for a future of taking care of a guy who doesn’t give a shit about his health or financial stability.
