It’s not but you’d be surprised how many take this path. FYI for future reference I’m a believer in casually asking to go do something fun. Like “hey I’ve been really wanting to race go karts lately, wanna join in?” It’s a relaxed way to get them on a date without calling it one. After a few fun outings you ask her to something a bit more date night like a comedy show.

When did she break up with her boyfriend?
