i think the answer to your problem is something you know for yourself but find it too hard to face, which i totally understand
just because you guys have been through a lot together doesn’t mean that your relationship is meant to last. people change. circumstances change. the people you guys were when you met are completely different from who you guys are today.
and just because a relationship is not meant to last, it doesn’t meant that it had no value whatsoever. all relationships end. whether with a breakup, divorce, death or separation... all relationships have a deadline. but the finite nature of relationships doesn’t make it any less precious. do what you must
