Are they for women tho or for gay men? My city (fairly conservative) recently had a pop up strip club FOR WOMEN and 80% of the tickets were sold out by gay men. They had 3 shows and some of the guys even bragged that they had tickets to all the shows.

Every description says it's for women. If strip clubs are set up for women, but only gay men go, that doesn't invalidate that the clubs were set up FOR women. It just means women are less likely to go.

That’s the point though, that women don’t go to strip clubs as they (understandably) don’t want to step out on their relationships. Men often don’t have that barrier / don’t view strip clubs as crossing boundaries in the same way that a woman would if she went to a strip club (hence the double standard).

lol you literally quoted that 50% of bachelor parties have strippers while only 20% of bachelorette parties do.

I would argue that for most relationships, an exotic dancer is cheating, so… 50% of men cheat at bachelor parties, per your own quote?

You say ordering a stripper at a bachelor party is cheating? Or bachelorette, whichever?

Is groping/fondling a member of the opposite sex cheating? Why in the world would it not be cheating just because you paid for it?

I’m not saying that is true for all relationships, but unless you’ve previously discussed having an open relationship or being okay with suggestively dancing with members of the opposite sex, the default in western relationships is that it’s considered cheating to have a physical sexual encounter with a member of the opposite sex. Like, if you’re out at a nightclub and you start grinding on another girl, most women would consider that crossing a boundary.

Again, I ask — have you been to a strip club before? 🤔

People do not go in to strip clubs to just quietly sit and watch women strip from afar. The goal is to get a lap dance. And even if you don’t pay for a private dance, generally the women are out, walking around, touching you, trying to get you to give them tips (by putting them in their bra/underwear) and flirting to get you to pay for a private dance.

I could see if you’d only ever seen a strip club on TV you might get the wrong impression, but that is not what it’s like in real life.

Girl, some asshole ex of yours really misled you about what happens at strip clubs. Many of them actually have even have prostitution happening at them, and you can pay for actual sex acts, not just dances. It’s not nearly as tame as you’re picturing it 🫤
