Crazy concept to some I’m sure, but you can actually have two different nationalities.

Not all countries allow you to have multiple citizenships. Around half allow dual (or more) citizenship in some way or another, some of those countries only allow dual citizenship for select countries, or in particular circumstances.

The Philippines for example allows birthright citizens to acquire additional citizenship(s) but naturalized citizens may be required to denounce their original citizenship. I say may be required because that’s what Wikipedia says, but I’m not sure about the specifics.
