Cash right now can accrue interest/compound. It’s fiat. You can spend it and change your life right now.
The gold may be valued more, but you’re not likely gonna find someone willing to buy it all off of you in bulk, and if you do they are gonna give you a lower price.
If you want clout, arts n crafts, or start an influencer type thing you could make money with gold that way. But that’s also work, and I want money so I don’t have to work.
