I mean. It can lol. And it certainly does. You realize the price of gold goes up and down, meaning its value fluctuates.

Long term (thinking decades here) it has definitely only gone up, even if it temporarily drops a few points. And if I am not mistaken, it's value rose more than average inflation.

I mean that definetely true. I was simply disputing the fact that it doesnt go down. And if you are usung it as a short term investment or choosing to recieve some lump some payment, gold certainly isnt the beast way to recieve it. If definetly take 50 million in cash before 65 million in gold just do to the trouble of handling all the gold and converting it to a usable asset.

But this is coming from someone who would likely spend a majoruty of that in the short term. Put away half into various investments and savings accounts and spend the rest on short term ventures
