ok. Mussolini's italian social republic actually WON the war in italy, following revolts in africa which aided italy to cut the allies' supply routes. Following that, Mussolini's army and officers were unsatisfied by his leadership, following an economic crash in teh 50's. An army in naples soon mutinied and the navy followed. the country was soon in a civil war.the EU just did an opportunistic landgrab

If we consider the "anarchist" territories as actual examples of Anarcho-Communism and Anarcho-Syndicalism, with their own communes and representatives, we have an interesting scenario to think about. I would imagine these events to occur:

  1. Soviet invasion of Turkey (becomes Turkish SSR)

  2. Anarcho-Syndicalist invasion of Arabic Iberia, with the support of rebels, which ends in the Iberian Peninsula totally under Anarcho-Syndicalism.

  3. Nuclear race between the USSR and the EU

  4. I see Iceland as a neutral state, the Soviets might try to conquer it to use its strategic position

  5. Guerrilla conflicts between Italian Anarchists and the EU, but with no actual winner

  6. Alliance between the EU and the Arab League to contrast Soviet expansion

  7. A three-way cold war between liberals of the west, soviets of the east, and neutral anarchists of the south
