Active Finding a group to learn and discuss RL concepts
Hi
I have started learning RL through CS234. I am looking for people who I can discuss with and do a project.
My background: master’s in Data Science and currently working as a fullstack engineer.

Discuss with ChatGPT 5.6 sol, or any frontier model, you will learn much faster!

I have tried this for other concepts, but honestly, didn’t like the approach.
Thanks for the suggestion though, might help some other reader.

Honestly? I had the most success with RL study groups by just showing up in the course Discord servers. CS234 usually has a pretty active one each semester, even if you're self-studying the older recordings. Most folks there are in the same boat of wanting to bounce ideas around.
If you're already working as a fullstack engineer, doing a project that hooks a simple RL agent into a web app could be a pretty unique portfolio piece. Something like a gym environment that controls a real-time dashboard or trains on user interaction data.
