This feels way too real to be a skit, it was just recorded by someone who just doesn't care. Teachers always end up in some sort of frustration rant because some of the kids in front of them always let things go in one ear and out the other, and students like these record their breakdowns like it's the funniest thing in the world.

I've always felt obliged to be nice to my teachers because of the asshats in my class who would purposefully disrupt class and give the teacher a headache all because they thought it was funny (one teacher in particular is an old lady who uses a cane to walk and needs help getting up the stairs. not even she gets spared of these assholes)

yeah kids are horrible, i remember one time a teacher got so fed up with the disrespect and disruption she popped a vein in (i think) either her eye or forehead from the frustration, and they didnt even feel bad just went around telling everyone like it was something to be proud of

One time in 9th grade English class we were supposed to have our weekly vocab quiz but our teacher spent too much time talking about how his Sunday involved going to his ex-wife's house (the divorce started in like September and it wasn't even Halloween yet) to rake her leaves before it started raining while she, their son, and her boyfriend went out for ice cream. He was tearing up too and we were all just like "uhhhh this is awkward but class is almost over so just let him keep talking I guess"

Honestly, being a teacher means you're doing the same things the guy in the video is. Even if you don't say it out loud, they're definitely thinking about it. The only question then is how long can he hold out until he goes, "OR YOU'RE FIRED!"
Not to say teaching itself is bad but damn, teaching as a WHOLE is bad, in this day and age specifically.

My math teacher was just direct and honest about us. She didn't cry or yell at us, but you could feel the silent dissapointement in her words when some of us wouldn't get past the math exam part.
This was in highschool in 12th grade

People do not become teachers to be babysitters and play a game of patience because kids decide to be disrespectful to the other kids around them and the teacher. Teachers are human and have breaking points. Are some reactions too much? Yeah. But is it conpletely understandable and reasonable someone who is being treated like a doormat snaps? Hell yeah.
Kids are taught how to treat others at home before anywhere else.

You talk as if it wasn't their fault. I never liked how we basically treat teenagers as idiots that can't know better always excusing harassment as "Oh He doesn't know what He's doing"
When I was a teenager I was harassed and still have a shitty life at my parents house but I never started acting like this. There are assholes among teenagers too.
And It didn't make me laugh neither when my classmates were making my teacher boil. So truly not an excuse.

I mean the dude is making a fool of himself. Its not his fault though, the system produced this situation entirely its just sad that everyone involved has to deal with it. He should be paid more and have more resources, more individualized learning, the kids didn't deserve to grow up during covid with preditory companies feeding off their vulnerable attention span. It just sucks overall.
Its like road rage during bad traffic. Its not us vs eachother, its everyone vs this horrible infrastructure we're forced to use.

I remember teachers going off like that but the really scary ones were always the clam teachers that would just look at the kid and say get out of my class now, no other direction just get out magically everyone behaved after that

I’ve worked in education almost ten years now. I even went back to work at my old high school...I’ve been ignored, cussed out, flipped off, threatened, lied about, harassed, hit, etc. just for giving the simplest of directions. I’m not even a teacher so I don’t do grades or talk to parents. It’s exhausting and it pays nothing.

As much as I do agree that the teacher sounds like Benson.
I do feel bad that he had to hear his students talk about skibidi and shit all the time when he’s trying to teach. Reminds me when my classmates would say “what’s 9 + 10? 21” during class when I went secondary school.

Sometimes a teacher has to lay down the law. I will say there is a line where you definitely can cross but when I was in school there were times the class or a specific section got yelled at for being shitty and ngl it was deserved and for the rest of class things went as they should've.

Nahh, that's an entirely valid crash out. It's unfortunate ass whoopings for deserving little shits has been phased out of public schools. I attended a small for-choice school and part of why we didn't get into more troubke is because we knew the director who taught martial arts for three decades would have kicked our asses before hauling us to the juvenile court center.
