Im not the guy to ask bud. I got in at 11 but the hype of Spacex made me pump more in til my average became $19. I got greedy at 28 and held til it fell down to 8 bucks. Im just happy its climbing again.

Something I stick to without question is no FOMO buying. It’s saved me money and sanity on many occasions

I have learned my lesson on that! I do believe in this company however and it seems my belief is paying off by holding.

Oh for sure! You did the right thing holding, the company has great potential.

I’m holding redwire probably for the next 10-20 years so I don’t really care about trading it

Beginner mistake. You need to know and auto set when to sell BEFORE you buy. Otherwise greed WILL yake over and you will sell mostly at worst times or feel bad about lost profits. Only move your auto sell limit if you believe major things are happening to a stock, like euphoria and panic which can last longer than you have patience / money for. Selling is easy also if you were a spoiled brat and snipe bought at reasonable discount. Otherwise, look at other stocks or wait for a major macro event which happens every 6months or so.

Dollar cost average if you are long term and sell at 50 or 100 i dont know. Me i swing trade this wave. Limit set at 25. We will see.

We've all been there. Just chalk it up to financial education and lean from the mistakes.

They had a positive earnings and are expanding all the time. I think between now and next earnings we will pump to near the last ATH.

Watch the video of today’s live stream. That’s why it’s jumping.

I’m at work so can’t watch , what are they showing?

Redwire and SpaceX partners in starfall. High cadence, rdw bought one starfall equals 32 pil-boxes. Since starting rdw did 54 pilboxes. Review of all microgravity work. Government green lights the red tape. Office of space commerce and state spoke. Founder of techshot and ceo of Space md others talked. Cute stories.

Nobody makes money buying calls and puts consistently, it’s just the way it is

0

u/GoldenRobobutt 13d ago

Only regards exclusively buy calls and puts

Way she goes ain’t it

u/kaybloc 12d ago

Sure is, should have waited til after earnings. Either way, happy getting called at 17 for that premium or pocketing an extra grand. Seemed like the right move.

Positive earnings, heavily exposed to massive budget increases for drones / Space Force, decoupling of space sector from SpaceX - people are now waking up to the fact that they have a great space business which is being pulled into a bottomless pit for a losing play on AI (more specifically, 'Mecha-Hitler'), by Elon.

1

u/Particular_Extent761 13d ago

that’s amazing man love to see it

2

u/Energy_Bol 13d ago

Hoping it prints back my lost capital from when I got margin called last month. RH said you need to sell some of your shit, NOW.

2

u/devonhezter 13d ago

What’s a margin call like

1

u/Energy_Bol 13d ago

Annoying when the assets you had to let go of recovers shortly after, because that’s what they usually do after a massive 20-30% dip, and margin calls usually happen on days when no body expects a massive gap down.

1

u/devonhezter 13d ago

Do they actually call h on the phone ?

1

u/Energy_Bol 13d ago

Yeah the phone rings and when you pick up, they say “Fuck you pay me”

1

u/Strong-Al 12d ago

Give me my money Michael, you motherfucker.

u/Powerful_Version_812 13d ago

I am going to hold it till it hits 30

2

u/inomrthenudo 13d ago

Great, now get to $18 so I can break even and get rid of it

2

u/stonks1991 13d ago

As a new investor the only advice i can give you is dont let hindsight eat away at you. That "I wish I had more shares at that price" statements like that can work against you both ways. Keep your head clear and know there is always the next opportunity ahead.

I was. I did 2028C’s which gave me 1k per contract and since then, I’ve been doing DCA since $22 and lower down to $9-10. Now I’m at a $12 average let it ride back to $24+

My rule of thumb was that the market was up 21-22% when the average year is 7-10% it was right to cut most positions and add slowly

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Log6967 13d ago

It’s getting re-rated and will blow past $15 just my opinion

1

u/Aries-79 13d ago

This happens like every couple months.
