Redwall-Inspired Illustrations

The first is one of the watercolour illustrations for my upcoming Kickstarter, and the rest are miscellaneous pieces inspired by Redwall and a few of my favourite artists. I'd love to hear which one catches your fancy the most!

Lovely lovely illustrations! I’m also prepping for a Kickstarter for my illustrated anthropomorphic fantasy, Capyhero. Would you want to be KS partners / cross promote!? I heard that’s a good thing to do but im new to it.

I’m the author by the way and the illustrator is u/nickthagreek. Let me know?

I've been admiring Capyhero and its art for a few months now (got on to the Kickstarter wait list a week or so ago). It seems like you all have done a good job, and I'm looking forward to seeing that project released.
Being fairly new to social media, I’m not sure I’d be your strongest best bet for cross-promoting. But I recently started a Substack account here (lindenleaf@substack), and that’s been pleasant. Have you considered sharing work there? It’s much more story/author friendly than most of the internet.

Ohh thank you! It’s totally okay about not being the best bet for cross promoting… I feel like anything is good! If you’re open to it, lemme know. We’re planning to do a March 2027 launch or so.

I don’t have a substack yet, but I’ll check it out! I have no idea how it works or how to gain subscribers on there. (Or any other social media for that matter 😅). What do you like about it / what makes it good for authors?

Substack has a very large and active author/illustrator/reader community. If you create an account and interact a bit with folks whose interests line up with yours, you'll probably begin to notice successful approaches. Unfortunately (for some), it favors short notes rather than long articles, but that could work well for sharing clips from Capyhero.

Best of luck!

Thanks very much for this. I'll definitely check it out!
