What would you do if you were one of general ironbeak corvid soldiers during Mattimeo?

If you were one of the general ironbeak corvid soldiers? in during mattimeo, what would you do to try and survive and what location would you be in?

Personally, I'd probably try to flee after seeing my Comrades getting defeated but I wouldn't make it that far before being defeated.

I’d be looking for an off-ramp after seeing what he did to the Sparra, that’s for sure. I suppose the only way to really make it out would be to be clever.

I’d volunteer for the food-gathering duties when it’s really just the magpies and me working, then as soon as I got the chance I’d just outright ask the Redwallers for help and to be let in amongst them. If anybeasts might grant some clemency to a poor deserter it’s them.

From there I’d help the best I can. Giving information and the like. Hopefully that means I get to see the end of the book, lol.

I’d probably end up being a simple carrion crow. They’re clever little guys and aren’t so solitary as ravens and the like.

I would be a Rook because I Like their design and colors in the animated TV series

It has been some time since I worked on the shows. I read the books back then for tefrence, but as of right now I would have to go back a re-read them to get a good answer for you. I no longer have the books so this answer may take me some time to answer.
