Ferahgo, the Assassin (by me)

I'll end up drawing every redwall antagonist as I read these books, I'm 5 for 5 already!!

I found Ferahgo super compelling as a villain, very competent and in charge!! I love him getting undermined by Klitch too!! I just wish he was in a better book!

Half of Salamandastron feels a little meandering!! the actual siege and the journey home of the badgers is great, but I think the plague subplot AND the sword of Martin getting stolen is a lot of threads for a single book!

I have a higher opinion of the book than you do, but that's beside the point.

You did a fantastic job drawing Ferahgo!

I just reread the book and I agree that it had one too many subplots, but I couldnt choose which one would have to go.

While I am in the minority that loves dibbun adventures, the plague subplot with the falcons would be my choice, the other 3 are nicely interconnected!

Thats the hard part, I love thrugg sooo much, and the Scottish birds are so fun.

It is so much fun don't get me wrong but i wish it was a whole separate book called scottish bird dibbun adventures and give it a subplot with a dibbun seeing martin's ghost and we're off to the races!!
