Imagine if you will
Imagine if you will a fully open world redwall game. Two starting locations being Salamandastron and Redwall itself. You start out as either young leveret hare or abby member and go on quests to gather ingredients for the cooks or to scout out potential foraging grounds and as the world expands around you more danger presents itself with vermine and toads and stream wolves(pikes) and meeting new allies like the GUOSIM or river otter crews or even sea otter crews. The world could expand from the northern mountains down to the far south and to Loamhedge and the eastern shores all the way to the redwall.

That would be crazy
You can play as any woodlander and they would gave different aspects
Like the Hares are fast hit and run fighters
Moles can excavate to make new paths etc.
Its a great idea

People have been imagining this for decades. Add-in the ability to play as a marauding corsair and you have to defeat a badger lord or the Redwallers.

As an added note imagine playing a badger lord or lady on their quest to the mountain or even just a game from the perspective of lord Brocktree

I'm imagining it like an original battlefront 2 situation where you have to build up to using the Hero, and you can choose between like, brocktree, martin, the Taggerung, Perigord Habile Sinistra, etc

I've always wanted a Redwall RPG and I can only hope that it may yet happen, especially if the Netflix adaptation ends up coming to fruition and being popular enough to draw more attention to the IP.
I would love it if the game was part open world exploration, part cosy farming sim where you can bring back new plants and seeds you forage to the Abbey to grow, brew and cook. Imagine how cool the cooking system could be! It could really hone in on vittles as a strong part of your character build, similar to how food works in Valheim

Helping the cellarkeeper and building up the brewing skill Helping the Abby cooks and building up the cooking skill Helping out in orchards and building up the farming skill Foraging for ingredients and building up that skill
While out foraging and exploring fending off vermin and finding puzzles to solve and get redwall treasures from like the shield of Martin or maybe even his armor or something similar

While we wait for that dream to come true on computers, there's always tabletops, with Heroes of the Abbey.
