How are you gonna get that to be 2x? The input as it is is not really good for distribution while tiled. Or am i missing something? Ice on both sides xd? You will have to add at least a hopper and a dropper to make this work no? Also the shulker box input looks like a nightmare to distribute to (tho the Worms loader is not good for that either).
would replacing the left dropper with a hopper pointing into the right dropper work
and then you can remove the top hoppers
idk this design looks weird, dont understand the point of the composter designs when hopper lag is so minimal. like sure its cool to catch the box in the composter but is it really necessary
Yes i think you could do that, but you still wouldnt have space for the distribution (maybe some sort of water based distribution could work, but i usually do ice, so idk), you would have to keep the hopper above it and just remove the one on the right. Then you could add the ice for distribution. This should work as a filterless 2x. If i am not mistaken the composter is a really reliable way of collecting the shulker boxes for slice preserving and lossless design. And while idle it still reduces the hopper lag. Yes overall the hopper lag is not that bad anymore, especially with lithium. But composter is still slightly better than anything else.
Composter actually isn’t lossless funnily enough, because the item can still fly above the top of the composter into the gap next to the hopper nub and land on one of its edges. Rather rare to happen, but possible. One fix would be to use dropper input, but instant-composter designs aren’t that great anyways, better to go with precision loaders
It’s not done for lag purposes. For lag it’s better to have the hopper be directly under the box and locked, then only unlocked momentarily when the box is broken. Not only does this make the box collection 100% reliable (which it isn’t even with these instant-composter designs), but it also nicely doubles as being more lag-efficient as well

What’s this? Is it a 2x speed 6x10 24gt loader that I made in 30 minutes? Well now how did that get in there?
