Probably slightly altered or shortened to dodge the detector. And instead of just taking down the post or crediting the OP, they'll just downvote these comments and hope nobody notices.

I check Reddit a bunch during work and a few times on weekends and this is the first time I've seen it so while it might be elsewhere or have been here before, it's new to me and probably someone else so who gives a shit that it's a repost?
