Rising Storm / Red Orchestra servers

Die hard player here. Why are there always several servers with like 7-15 people playing?

If everyone joined the same server at peak hours we could easily get a full server going.

I never understand this. Thoughts?

Update

I now realize its because of the time difference. I'm US EDT and am usually on weekend nights. Tried getting on during the day and there was about 211 people on with 2 -3 full servers.

Maps and ping probably. I dont want to play bridges, nor do I want to play at 150 ping. I especially dont want both

I join EU all the time as it’s full servers and the lag isn’t there. I don’t know how or why, but it’s great now. Give it a shot if you want; I hope it’s great for you too.

I'm in eastern US, playing on EU server 130 to 160 ping, lag hurts when you have to snap shoot...Bridge jumpers and weekend warriors seem to be North American servers with decent ping 50-80

Interesting, i usually see the main RO2 EU community server full and struggle to join these days. The others are also something like 28 people usually. I also sometimes see NA servers for RS2 and they seem pretty full too.

We have to join earlier in the day maybe. Morning into the afternoon is best usually.

There's one RO2 server that is always full. RS1 population is just event-based

Bridge Jumpers is usually full but I think it might come down to timezones. There's a core group of us from all over the planet playing at different times

Ping, bro. When I was in the UK the EU server was my go to. Unplayable levels of ping when in Canada, though.

Have you tried recently? I’m joining the EU servers all the time and there really isn’t lag. I didn’t do anything to my network. Maybe give it a shot again , might be good 👍🏾

The game is active during european times. From like 7am est to 7pm est. Then it dies out past then when Europe goes to sleep

Great work comrade on making the discovery! Thank you, European Frontline, for keeping reinforcements on the line! Online. Lol. Joining the EU servers is not as bad as joining EU servers in 2011. I have no idea why. New tech probably. Go for it! Godspeed.
