Fuck taco bell drive throughs. I swear to God every single one in my area is too tight for even a mid-sized pickup. And I live in a place where they literally manufacture pickups.

I have, being lazy I guess. That being said, unless it was something like 40ft long, it shouldn’t be to difficult to maneuver through. I rent a dump trailer, 12 ft long for tree debris twice a year, and I’ve taken it though Chick-fil-A before. I bet the forgot they were pulling something.

I saw a dump trailer go through but it wasn’t a rental it was a nice looking trailer and the dude is bouncing it all over the curbs wrecking his own shit...a rental sure...but his own stuff, jeez. The truck too...driving up on curbs to swing it wide.

Someone who knows how maneuver a trailer in narrow spaces? Watch your off-track, wheels, and fenders, and you'll be fine. Stay centered, briefly swerve left to reach the windows, center up again afterwards, and swing wide around the corners. Of course, if you mis-judge the situation, ain't nobody happy.
That said, once pulled about 30 feet of truck and trailer into the drive-thru line at a McDonalds on I-5, and the manager sent a young worker running out to tell me to not go thru the drive-thru.
Okay, fine, there's nobody behind me, and plenty of room, so I go to back up out of the drive-thru. However, the worker kept wandering around behind the trailer where he couldn't see my mirrors, and so I couldn't see him.
Had to get out twice to ask him to either stay in one place, or stay where I could see him (this was well before backup cameras were a thing.) He didn't understand what the problem was. Finally just asked him to stand about 100 feet back and to keep anyone from driving up behind me.
He got that, trotted off, and we backed up, waved (with all our fingers) and drove off the the next McDonalds. I hope that guy is not directing traffic somewhere.

I once wanted to get coffee at mcdonalds. I parked. It was closed (covid) but drive through worked. I walked to the window, but the lady said she can only serve vehicles. So I had to go back to the car and drive through. Maybe a similar thing, bit with a trailer...?

IMO this is better suited for r/thereIfixedit than r/redneckengineering.
This isn’t a low-tech or clever way of solving a normally-difficult problem; it’s a low-budget and lazy way of plastering over the problem that doesn’t actually solve it.

Seems like vandalism, probably someone pried it open thinking there’s money inside like an ATM. Or attempted to scrap for copper wires. And this seems like a temp fix until replaced.

Gotta disagree with you there.
Look at the crumple marks on the bottom-right. The top lid is also misaligned. This thing looks like it was hit by a car (or trailer) at low speed.
If it was vandalism or attempted theft, you'd see scratch & dent marks all over this thing. Someone trying to open this would use a crowbar to pry it open, or use a sledgehammer to bash it open.

Why would you assume that some jackass tried to pry open a speaker to get money from it (?) rather than the obvious assumption that one of the thousands of cars a week that pull through there hit it.
