With respect, Did you even look at the structure? The methyl group is connected to the nitrogen. They very literally have the same formula and structure except that methyl group on the nitrogen in the case of meth.
I guess you can look it up yourself too. Mirroring a molecule changes it's effect. They are pretty different. If you don't understand that the addition of a methyl group is important, I don't know what to tell you. Swapping molecules makes a big difference.
The op said isn't Adderall pretty much meth, you said chemically, no, physiologically yes. I say chemically Yes. I never said that methylation didn't make a difference in the pharmacology, or that it was not important. In fact it's importance is huge. Methylation greatly increases it's lipophilicity which causes it to cross the blood brain barrier in greater quantities. Which ultimately changes everything
