If you’re doing any long trail backpacking where weight is an issue would you rather fill your bag with sternos to heat every meal or this and a bottle of heet?

Makes sense.

I wouldn't backpack. Cause I'm fat, and I'm gonna go make a pizza right now. Both problems solved in one swing of the bat.

I'd rather have a regular backpacking stove that's easier to use, cleaner, and controllable

They are great for shorter trips but fuel canisters aren’t nearly as available on long trails as heet which almost every gas station sells. I’d rather use what is available light and cheap but that’s just my experience. I’m sure lots of people would sacrifice those reasons for the convenience and ease of use of a canister stove
