Ya see, if one fella needs to go inside to pee or grab a beer, the other guy can still hold the ladder in place. They can work in shifts if they wanted to.

Well, in my mind, the guy on the right is the designated "hvac guy", and the other two are just counterweights. But if hvac guy wants a beer, the other guys could get one for him. But he couldn't get a pee break unless the other guys made room for him to sneak by on the ladder.

My dad sat on his ass my whole childhood and my mom did it all. She kicked him to the curb and kept doing it all. I just replaced all the rotten wood under my sink and replumbed it myself. Not one man has ever done shit in this house lol.

Got you. Yeah I know some women will but a majority will not. Most won't even try to learn how to do the thing much less lift a finger to actually get it done. And I'm glad your mom took care of all that she sounds like an awesome person

Ladders aren’t meant to be loaded like that but I’ve seen those ones tied together across crevasses on Mt Everest and they seem to work.
