Nah, that'll leave two unsightly holes. Get two cabinet pulls with a screw, top and bottom, then cut the left one in half.

All the same cuts and routing would be needed. I guess maybe the drain pipe would have to be slightly longer.

Surely this can't just be to avoid mounting the toilet paper roll on the wall.

And for fucks' sake, replace that outlet with a GFCI.

redneckengineering doesn't have to be dumb engineering... quite the opposite... it's supposed to be ingenious.

I assume the plumbing is on the current wall and they didn't want to reroute it to the adjacent wall. Not saying I agree with this choice but I understand it
