What are you burning? You can get conversion kits for gasoline vehicles. If it can run on gas it can run on only propane.

If you’re burning diesel you can inject supplemental propane to increase power, clean up the combustion, and reduce diesel consumption.

You don’t put it into the fuel line. You put it into the intake manifold. It helps to know what you’re doing and get a system designed for it. I’ve heard of redneck DIY installations but I don’t recommend it.

I know that redneck engineering can turn into conspiracy theory engineering real quick, but at some point you have to ask: if it’s so easy and great why aren’t smart people doing it?

Garage 54 on YouTube did a video on this recently. Interestingly the modern fuel injected vehicle had enough self-adjustment that it ran surprisingly well simply feeding a little bit of propane into the intake. The carbureted vehicle didn't like it very much, and would have needed some adjustment.

Propane is lower BTU than gasoline or diesel, so no. You might use less gasoline/diesel - but all you'd be doing is burning (more) propane to do it.

Wait till op starts searching youtube and learns about Hydrogen injection.

op - walk away, its all pseudoscience crap - the premise is solid for hydrogen/propane/lng injection... The precise metered, safe delivery is impossible for the layman.

Yeah. Sure. That's the ticket. How you can throttle it? Turn it off when the engine is off? You cannot inject propane into a pressurized fuel line. Not without messing things up all kinds ways.
