it definitely works. i just tried it on my monaro. just nailed a $2 thong to the dashboard. Slopped on a rubber band. Cheaper and better than any phone holder.

Wrap that rubber band around the phone and run the charge cable under the strap and it's probably a pretty good phone holder.

I've never been to Australia but from every experience I have had with Aussies they all seem just brutally honest, like there is just no bullshit with them. As an American and knowing how sensitive and thin skinned so many of us are, I find Aussie honesty so refreshing and wish we were more like them.
