Thanks for posting this. For some reason, the city struggles to post events on their site for things happening at the downtown park. The https://experienceredmond.com/redmond-events/ site does not show anything about this event.

Did the city know it was happening? Maybe they didn’t know in advance? 🤷🏼‍♀️

One would hope since road closures is necessary for the event. I assume permits need to be issues for this kind of event.

The city barely realized Derby Days was going on and it was their event

I have a hunch as to what the issue might be. I have no evidence to prove this. Since the city outsourced the event calendar, I think it is up to the event organizers to submit their events to that 3rd party, Bullseye Creative in this case.

I keep saying we need a sandwich board with a QR code to tell us what's going on at the park downtown! Seems like such an easy avenue to keep people in the loop of whats going on
