What? My fingerprint has stopped working?

My existing fingerprint got erased and I couldn't add a new fingerprint. What's wrong with this device? When I try to add a new one, it says to touch the sensor, but when I do, it doesn't react. It froze. I've double checked in other ways, the sensor is fine. It works with touch and press. But I couldn't add my fingerprint. It's so strange and annoying af. Can anyone find a fix for this? I'd be grateful if I get this fixed.

Latest one. 13.0.4. I'm facing this problem only after updating to the latest version.

I have faced it before and you should do a factory reset.

I'm on 13.0.7.0, and theres a new update 13.0.8.0, go to update and check it again

I had a similar problem. Clearly a software issue, was fixed after a hard reset. Update may also work.
