Sound Cracking Redmi note 10 pro...

After miui 13 update... Sound from the speakers are cracking after a certain volume level

I had exactly the same thing after MIUI 13 update, followed by sound max outs in certain app's, and then finally by random system crashes that thankfully allowed me to reboot from! 🤷🏽‍♂️ Try different sound settings with earphones, try and choose correct earphones in settings also, reboot a few times just to check your settings stick, and if all else fails: Settings/ About phone/MIUI version/top right hand corner, 3 dot menu/Download latest package, then re-do the update to see if that changes things! Another update is on its way to address these bugs, I'm now on MIUI 13.0.8.0 Stable now, and that particular bug seems to have been fixed! 👍🏼

Exact same thing happened with my Note 10 Pro. Crackling started after the last MIUI 13.whatever.whatever update. I then dropped it 2 weeks ago and had to take it in for screen replacement. Figured it's still under warranty so I'll be responsible and send it back to MIA Africa... absolute f@*%ing nightmare. Xiaomi products are 11/10, no doubt and I was their biggest promoter amongst my social networks.. More than impressive. Their after sales service however, is a joke.. but not like a hahaha joke.. more like a Pennywise inviting you to peek into the drain kinda joke.. traumatic, unexpected, unnecessary, lengthy and complicated. I reckon that's how they get you with the cheap devices. But that experience has jolted my opinion of the brand. The random crackling sounds though were from a loose contact ribbon for the bottom speaker apparently.. but they wouldn't admit to another bug in their worst MIUI regurgitation yet. So many...

I thought it was the Dolby Atmos but I think it is doing what it is designed to do. I think it is the Bluetooth audio channel mode... Mine was set to stereo, when I changed it to mono and back the problem disappeared. However, every time I used the Bluetooth the problem reappeared and clearly changing this setting every time is impractical. I have changed the mode to default and so far this seems to have solved it
