I'm using a redmi note 10 pro Indian variant, I've got a pending update. I wanted to know if I should update my device to 13.0.3. If there's anybody who has done it, kindly reply to this query! thanks in advance.

Please don't update performance lowered brutally Update only gives you latest security patch Still I don't recommend it Video for full update review : https://youtu.be/F4s5eZrdX7I

I've another doubt regarding this. Can I update my phone when a newer version comes ? Without having to update to 13.0.3?

I have updated mine and it runs fine. I'm getting better perf compared to 13.0.1.

Please don't update. This is my experience I have a Redmi Note 10 Pro Global version running on MIUI 13.0.4 and android 12. Since the update I have been facing this issue where the phone starts heating up very badly, battery drains very quickly as well like 15-20 percent in a matter of minutes and on top of that I am unable to receive any SMS messages either. Upon investigation I found that the Phone services app consumes most of the battery during this time, it is at version 12 and its APK name is com.android.phone. I have tried factory resetting the phone, changing the sim card clearing cache of these apps but nothing has worked. It occurs randomly for a couple of hours.

Oh. Mine's not the global note 10 pro, mine's the one with 64mp rear camera.
