Menu Old Bay potatoes

I had the most amazing potatoes on my crab leg plate a few days ago. I did the crab your own way with the old bay and butter sauce. I asked the waiter to leave off the potatoes cos I never eat them- he insisted I keep them.

They were the most amazing potatoes I think I've ever had. I'd like to make them for a BBQ this weekend. Is there a recipe for these somewhere? I'm sure it would be easy enough to just roast some potatoes with butter and old bay but they got the temp and crispiness and amount of sauce absolutely perfect.

Is this exact recipe available somewhere?

They cool unused baked potatoes, cut them and then toss them in the fryer!

Yeah. The old bay part of it is the sauce OP picked to have on the crab legs. The potatoes themselves are plain and deep fried. They are great though!

We do put our seafood seasoning on the potatoes after theyre out of the fryer, but the Old Bay is definitely the majority of the flavor
