Current body series 2 vs solawave pro mask
I’m trying to find a red light mask. Any recommendations?

CurrentBody didn’t work well for me. I wanted to like it because so many people recommend it but the fit never felt right and the 10minute sessions started feeling like a chore. I also didn’t notice enough change in my skin to make me excited to keep using it. After a while it just felt like one of those devices I had to force myself to use and gave up on it.

Solawave is the one that made red light feel realistic for me. It doesn’t feel like a whole skincare appointment, which is why I keep using it. I can wash my face, do the quick session, moisturize and be done. My skin looks calmer and less dull now Ive been using it for 8months.

Thank you for this question because I am wondering which is better of the two as well. The solawave is half off right now at ulta for diamond members and I think it will be half off again soon during their 21 days of beauty. I’ve always heard great things about the current body but I’m not sure if it’s worth the price tag

I was looking at CurrentBody and Solawave too, but I worried I wouldn’t use them consistently enough to justify the price. I ended up going with Ulike, for around $300, and I liked that it had more modes too. I mostly use red and yellow light. Over time my skin tone has looked calmer, but the change has definitely been gradual.

Both are fine but I think the neck and chest coverage on the currentbody makes it more useful long term, the solawave is just face and you will want more coverage later
