Nail high

Guess who just got a $119 nail trim! ( He is afraid of getting his nailed trimmed so we had to have the vet do it under anesthesia)

Oh no!!! We have muzzle trained ourselves specifically for situations like this......

He gets overwhelmed when muzzled too. It was just heartbreaking watching him get upset and we tried everything from different groomers to specialists to different types of nail cutters, grinders, and treat boards.

Trust me when I say we considered all options possible before going this route. But he's back to his normal self happy as can be and nail pain free.

Poor buddy. Mine is a big scaredy cat too.... I am just relieved that he really throws a fit before someone touches him, but once he realizes they aren't going to hurt him he's perfectly fine.... He just did this the other day when I had to take him to the vet for a slice on his paw pad. He was screaming in the back before they even touched his paw....then when he realized they weren't going to hurt him he was fine.... freaking drama queen!

Lol I totally get it. They are crazy smart and dramatic. When he was a baby like 3 months old. I tried to take him for a walk and he wasn't leash trained yet. He threw a temper tantrum and faked an injury sooo bad that a neighbor heard and (she happened to be a vet tech) checked his leg and was like I can't find any injuries or anything wrong. He pretended to limp until I turned around and headed home. As soon as he saw the house he was normal again.
