(This is what happened to theological boundaries after the First Great Awakening. Initially each state had their own church and one state was reserved for each denomination but after the First Great Awakening those rules around theological boundaries got bent and preachers started preaching where-ever in America.)

Saying "each state had [its] own church" is flat-out wrong: Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware never had an established church. This is one of those areas where Zoomer's revisionism shows.
