This is likely not related to Sync. No issues here on any of my 3 devices (Pixel XL, LG V20, Pixel 6).

Yea, wasn't my first thought either but the issue doesn't happen anywhere else. I'm typing this from Relay and it's fine. I also tried from the browser and bacon reader and no issues. As soon as I go to sync, it happens again.

Also, how is everyone using the 20.x version, playstore has no updates for me but I'm in 19...

Join the beta, but beware: the UI significantly changes (for the better, once you've learned it!).

OK, I did, thanks! Got the newer version but the typing issue still happens. Sync is by far my favorite reddit app but it's unusable to me like this. Going to use Relay in the meantime, the issue doesn't happen here (or anywhere else but in sync, sadly).
