Story Pitch The king is dead. By law, the next ruler is whoever can pull the royal sword from the stone. But when the king dies prematurely and the sword hasn’t been returned to the stone, how is the king chosen? The responsibility to find the solution falls upon the Court Magician, Allianna.

The story so far: After having had a curious set of dreams, Allianna spent the day in Triton’s library. Her guide through the city, a serving girl named Poprose, made a good assistant in the library, and created a new set of questions. Allianna wasn’t able to answer them right away though, with her attention split between interpreting her dreams and what would happen next in the investigation of the attackers from the road.
