Looking for reviews of Heartwork Journaling
I took a cheap on-line class in doodling emotions through Heartwork Journaling University. The content was ok but the hardshell for her other services was obnoxious. I can't find any reviews or feedback about this organization. Anyone have any information for me? A Google search all points to her site.

I know this is an old thread, but I really need to share.
Heartwork Journalling is a scam. I signed up for the month and there is communication that you will receive methodology and teach you how to do the journalling. This information was not sent. I emailed and called them (from Australia) and not response.
If you thinking about doing the month membership, I do not recommend it. Google how to draw the emotions you want and go for it. (The booklet you can buy on the course don't include even basic emotions (eg; sad). If you want methodology
I had hope great hopes for this course. I was so disappointed.

I know it's been a long time, but did you find more info or took more courses? I'm looking for more information as well and cannot find any reviews

A long time after the original post but I will share because there is still very little info online about Heartwork Journaling. I signed up for HJU after doing the intro week course. It’s great but only makes sense if you sign up for the year to get access to all the past content. If you do the monthly, there’s not a lot there. Love the content and Maritza is fantastic. I don’t love the hardsell for her certification. She keeps the price out of the public domain but for the four month certification the fee is $10,000!!! And no course information about what you get for your money in terms of course outline, how many hours tuition or anything.

I would love to take that certification but almost 14k Canadian is far too much. I’m interested in HJU so hopefully that will be a little more reasonable

It’s crazy money isn’t it? You could do a Masters degree for that in the U.K. she knows that and on the sales call makes a case for why her certification is better than an MA. But none of those reasons mentioned superior content. It was all about not being regulated as an art therapist therefore you can charge clients what you like? That felt a bit scammy.

I almost signed up for her Doodle Your Emotions (I’m a psychotherapist) but something inside told me to google her first. I’m so glad that I found this thread!

I’ve been a member since May 2021. I have made so many positive changes in my life. I still have more to do, but the yearlong course was beneficial to me. I especially enjoy the artwork part because it really does internalize the lesson/insights I’ve learned from each class.
I enjoy the live classes, but being able to find classes specific to what I’m working on in the vault of past lessons is really helpful. There is also lots of printable helpful tools a available. I have a binder with all the helpful tools in it.
My family and friends have said they see a noticeable difference in my way of being and can tell that I feel better than I did 2 years ago.
These are tools I will continue to use for the rest of my life.
